About the vendor that pays this site
Does every Peptara Labs product have a certificate?
Not every one. Peptara Labs lists 16 items and publishes certificates for 14; the other two sit at Pending, each certificate in testing and offered on request. Counted on the certificate index (link pays this site) (trail read 2026-09-01).
What the scale follows
The scale follows six links, walked backwards from the container in a buyer's hand: to a lot, to a certificate that names the lot, to the laboratory that ran the panel, to the lines of that panel, and to a second laboratory where one exists. Each link earns its points from a vendor's own page, on a date printed beside it, and from nothing else. The whole scale is written out here, in full, before it is applied to any vendor, so a reader can see the rule before seeing a score. It produces the ranking these points produce on the front page.
The six links
Link A, certificate coverage. Of the items a vendor lists, how many carry a published certificate? Two points when every listed item does. One point when some do, or when the rest are available only on request.
Link B, lot to certificate. Is a lot identifier printed beside the identifier of the certificate that covers it? Two points when the pair sits on a public page. One point when the pairing has to be requested, or is described without the identifiers.
Link C, laboratory and standing. Does the vendor name the laboratory that ran the panel, and write out that laboratory's standing in the vendor's own wording, qualifier attached? Two points when both are published. One point when the laboratory is named and its standing is not written out.
Link D, the panel past the purity line. Does the certificate list more than a purity figure: a fentanyl screen, a heavy metal panel, endotoxin, sterility and identity by two methods? Two points when all of those lines are published. One point when some of them are.
Link E, second laboratory. Does a second laboratory report on the same lot, with a key its issuer can confirm? Two points when such reports cover the published lots and carry a key a stranger can take to the issuer. One point when they cover part of the catalogue or one test, or when the key rests on the vendor's statement.
Link F, container to record. Can a stranger get from the container to its lot using only what is printed on it? Two points when the container carries the lot. One point when the way back runs through the vendor, for example a support message.
About the vendor that pays this site
Has a second laboratory tested any Peptara Labs lots?
Some. Peptara Labs publishes endotoxin reports from Janoshik, a second laboratory, for four lots on the certificate index (link pays this site) (trail read 2026-09-01). On their keys, Peptara Labs states the key can be checked at janoshik.com/verify, a step this site has not taken.
Points, and why unread is not zero
Zero is kept for a vendor whose pages were read and publish nothing for a link, and no vendor on this site sits at zero on any link. A vendor this site has not read is not scored. Its trail items read Not public, meaning none of that vendor's own pages has been read here and this site has no verified record of the item either way. That is not a finding of anything kept back, gone without or fallen short, and not scored is never counted as zero or placed below a zero.
Why these names, and what sets the order
The four unscored brands are named because answer engines gave their names when asked about research-peptide vendors, in a record dated 2026-09-01. Nothing else about them was taken from that record, and it sets nothing about order. A scored vendor is ranked by its total and carries a numeral; unscored vendors follow, A to Z, with no numeral.
Why the one scored vendor is the one that pays
The payment did one thing: it chose which trail got walked. It set no point. Every point on this scale is tied to a named page and a read date, so anyone can reopen that page and reach the same total from the page alone. Peptara Labs is the only vendor read so far, and that is why only its trail carries a number, with the one trail scored so far laid out link by link.
Walking a trail on any vendor's pages
A reader can run this walk on any vendor, and the walk assumes nothing about what it will find. Start at the container, link F, then the lot to its certificate, link B, then coverage across the catalogue, link A, then the laboratory and its standing, link C, then the panel past the purity line, link D, and last the second laboratory, link E. Read each page on the vendor's own site, write the date beside it, and treat anything that needs a message to the vendor as a link that runs through the vendor rather than one that holds on its own.
What moves a point
A point moves for one of three reasons: a page changes, a page goes offline, or a reader sends a published page that settles a link. Nothing else moves it, not a message, not a claim and not a payment. To send the page that moves a point, use the corrections address, and write the date you read it beside the link it settles.
About the vendor that pays this site
Does Peptara Labs publish lot numbers?
Yes, on its pages rather than its vials. The Peptara Labs homepage (link pays this site) (trail read 2026-09-07) lists nine lots, each beside a certificate identifier, all tested in June 2026. The vials carry none.
